Michael S. Bryant — Partner and Licensed Polygraph Examiner

Mike Bryant retired from the Virginia State Police in January of 2017 with 32 years of service. Mike completed the Backster School of Lie Detection in May of 2005. In addition to his duties as a Polygraph Examiner, Mike was a Crime Scene Technician and a General Instructor at the State Police Academy and the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy. 

Mike is a Short-Term Mission Trip Coordinator, Men's Life Group Director and Legacy Life Group Team Instructor with Thomas Road Baptist Church. He also referees youth league soccer.

M. Barry Stephens — Partner and Licensed Polygraph Examiner

Barry Stephens is a retired Senior Special Agent from the Virginia State Police. He served 36 years with the State Police, 25 of those years in criminal investigation.

He completed the Backster School of Lie Detection in 1993 and was a State Police Polygraph Examiner until his retirement in 2010. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserve after 27 years as a Military Police Instructor. He is an Adjunct Instructor at Central Virginia Community College, teaching Criminal Justice.

Barry has been involved with the Fraternal Order of Police, the Lynchburg Exchange Club, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), and other community services since retirement.
